Empowering Rural Resilience Trainers for Disaster Preparedness A two-day follow-up session for Rural Resilience Trainers (RRTs) was held on 13th and 14th March 2026 at Jagori Campus, Rakkar, with eight participants. The session focused on disaster preparedness through activities like hazard mapping, first aid practice, evacuation planning, and role plays on situations such as floods, landslides, earthquakes, and forest fires. These activities helped participants refresh their knowledge and better understand how to respond during emergencies in their villages. At the end of the session, certificates were given to all participants for completing the training. This encouraged them to take an active role in supporting their communities during disasters. The session overall helped build their confidence and improve their readiness to handle emergency situations.
