Block Coordinator

Location: Chamba District, Himachal Pradesh

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Block Coordinator to coordinate project activities across several communities within a designated cluster. The role requires engaging with local communities, facilitating events, and ensuring the project’s objectives are met in line with JRCT’s principles and community needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support community-based initiatives within the assigned area.

• Promote effective community engagement and participation.

• Foster collaboration with local stakeholders and authorities.

• Ensure alignment of all activities with JRCT’s values of gender justice, social equity, and sustainability.

• Monitor project progress and address implementation challenges.

• Contribute to documentation, reporting, and sharing of key insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Rural Development, or any relevant social science discipline

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in community development, project coordination, or a related field

• Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills

• Sensitivity to issues of caste, gender, and social justice

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
