Celebrating the Taste, Health & Heritage of Himachal!
Jagori Rural Charitable Trust, in collaboration with GSSS Trilokpur, hosted a vibrant Traditional Food Festival with 128 participants, celebrating the richness of local flavours and ancestral wisdom.
Community women prepared and shared traditional dishes such as Patrode, Ragi ki Kheer, Ghari aur Tali Roti, Chana Chaat, Aloo ki Chutney, Sidu, and Kaddu ki Sabzi, passing on their nutritional knowledge to the younger generation.
Hosted by the NSS team, the event included insightful talks by Chanderkanta & Ajay (Jagori) on healthy, natural eating. Students Ridima (Class 10) and Vanshika (Class 12) also presented a creative dialogue on Junk vs. Traditional Food.
The day concluded with folk songs, Himachali dance, and the joyful Millet Song — celebrating community, wellness, and the beauty of eating local.
